Thousands of pilgrims flock to see the Lord every year. The strenuous climb to Sannidhanam often creates many health discomforts in the pilgrims. As part of continued efforts to provide timely medical assistance to the pilgrims, Lakshmi Hospital from Ernakulam has started a medical assistance at Apachimedu in association with KVMS hospital, Ponkunnam. The 24x7 clinic is manned by a team of doctors assisted by a trained team of nurses and paramendics specialized in trauma care. The clinic will function on all days the temple is open i.e of first five days of Malayalam Month and Mandala pooja season.

Equipped to meet an emergency, the centre has facilities to give first level of assistance to any untoward condition that may befall the pilgim. As the trek usually brings breathing problems for the elderly, the camp is well equipped to provide timely assistance.
