



Karma Charitable Society
The Karma Charitable Society is a non-profit social welfare initiative of Lakshmi Hospital, which reaches out to the underprivileged section of the society with quality healthcare services, education and other social services. Some of the main activities that the Society undertakes include:
| 1. | Medical Camps : Medical Camps and Awareness Campaigns are planned from time to time in the impoverished neighbourhoods. |
| 2. | Free Dialysis : Free Dialysis is being provided to needy patients. |
| 3. | Jeevarogya : A medical welfare campaign initiated by Lakshmi Hospital in association with the Resul Pookutty Foundation, Jeevarogya aims to provide medical support and aid to 3000 poor patients, and perform 300 free surgeries including 30 open heart surgeries. |
| 4. | Rural Health Centre (RHC) : RHCs are being established across Kerala to make quality healthcare easily accessible and affordable. Our Rural Health Centres at Mazhuvannoor, Kolenchery provides quality healthcare facilities at highly subsidized rates to over 32000 villagers. |
| 5. | Health Education : Health education and awareness is provided through major TV channels and Kochi FM. |
| 6. | Education : Education and Food is provided to poor students. |
| 7. | Social Welfare : Each hospital supports a local orphanage / old age home |
