Jeevarogya is a medical welfare campaign initiated by Lakshmi Hospital, which is celebrating its 30 years of service, in association with the Resul Pookutty Foundation, to carry the good work forward.
Over the next year, we aim to provide medical support and aid to 3000 poor patients, who will be given subsidized treatment for different ailments, and 300 free surgeries will be performed, including 30 open heart surgeries.
The campaign was officially launched on 7 February 2010 at 4 pm at the Launch Event organized by Resul Pookutty Foundation and Lakshmi Hospital at Le Meridien Resort & Convention Centre, Cochin, Kerala, India, by Iconic Indian Film Actor Padma Bhushan Amitabh Bachchan, in the presence of Padma Shri Resul Pookutty, Founder Director of Resul Pookutty Foundation, Dr. K.K.R Wariyar, Founder & Medical Director of Lakshmi Hospital, Mr. Pradeep Wariyar, Director, Lakshmi Hospital, Mr. Ramesh Menon, Executive Director of Resul Pookutty Foundation, Members of the Media and Special Invitees.
